Comfort: Protects sensitive nerve endings in the wound from air and contact, reducing pain.
Clean the Wound: First, wash your hands. Then, gently clean the wound with clean water or a mild antiseptic wipe. Pat the area dry with a clean towel.
Select the Right Plaster: Choose a plaster that is large enough to cover the wound completely, with the pad extending beyond the cut's edges.
Apply: Peel off the release paper. Avoid touching the pad. Place the pad directly over the wound and smooth down the adhesive sides.
Change Regularly: Change the plaster daily, or whenever it becomes wet, dirty, or loose. This helps keep the wound clean.
Remove: Peel it off gently. If it's stuck, moistening the edges with warm water can help loosen the adhesive.
