A non-rebreather mask with a reservoir bag is a medical device used to deliver higher concentrations of oxygen to a patient. It consists of a mask that fits over the nose and mouth, a one-way valve system, and a reservoir bag that collects and stores oxygen.
The purpose of the non-rebreather mask is to prevent the patient from rebreathing exhaled air, thereby increasing the effectiveness of oxygen delivery. The one-way valve system ensures that the patient inhales only fresh oxygen from the reservoir bag, while exhaled air is expelled through a separate valve.
The reservoir bag is usually made of clear plastic and is attached to the mask via a tube. The bag is typically inflated to two-thirds of its capacity, providing a reservoir of oxygen that can be used during inspiration.

They can deliver oxygen concentrations up to 90-95% and are often used in combination with other medical interventions to support breathing and oxygenation.
